- How do I take your products? Is it necessary to make a tea of them?
Our products are offered in either capsule, pill, tablet or tea bag form. This eliminates loose, bulk teas which can make for inconsistent dosage and waste. Capsules and pills should be taken as one would take any dietary supplement: swallowed whole with a beverage of your choice. Our labels do recommend that the products in Tablets must be dissolved in hot water to form a mild, pleasant-tasting tea. Please follow the brewing instructions on the box for tea bags. Remember, always follow recommended dosage instructions. - May I take all the products I have ordered during the same period of time?
Our herbalists advises that no more than two curing teas be taken during the same period of time to avoid substance counteracting with another. It is recommended that you start and finish no more than two curing teas during any given period to ensure that you are gaining full potency from each and every product. When too many different substances are consumed together, there presents an increased chance that one product's effectiveness will be weakened by another. - May I take herbal supplements at the same time I take my regular vitamins and homeopathic herbs?
There should be no conflict in taking herbs at the same time you take your daily vitamins. However, it is advisable to allow at least two hours between taking any homeopathic remedy. - Can I take herbs with prescription medication?
If you are taking prescription medication and/or currently under treatment by a doctor, we urge you to check with your doctor before taking any herbal supplement. We are not doctors, and are unable to provide any advice related to contraindications or issues with your current medical treatment. - Why is there a variance in the dosage directions?
Certain individuals, their lifestyles and health conditions, vary greatly. While one individual and his/her condition may be slight, another's may be a chronic nature. For the latter, it is recommended that the full dosage may be all that is needed. Many of our customers, having found relief with our products, chose to reduce the dosage by approximately one-half. - How long must I wait for results?
As each individual is different, this is the most perplexing question of all to answer. Reaction time varies with each individual, the extent of his/her condition and, most importantly, each lifestyle. It is important to remember that an illness does not develop overnight and will, in many cases, not disappear immediately. It is best to adopt an attitude of positive conviction and patient persistence. It is also important to allow your body time to adjust to any newly introduced substance. While it is our great hope that you have not sought our assistance as a "last ditch" effort or as a miracle cure, we also hope that you are doing what you can to attend to the needs of your body, mind and spirit. Please examine your lifestyle to determine what factors may have contributed to your current state of health or illness.
Herbal supplements do tend to take a little longer to work. In order to gain the best performance it is important to take the supplements consistently over a period of time. Especially when dealing with ailments that have developed over a period of time. So be patient and consistent.
